The Backstreet Boys are celebrating 20 years as a group with a new album
and a world tour. So what's life like on the road these days? Think pacifiers and wet wipes
over cocktails and groupies!
PEOPLE got to hang out with the band before their sold out show at the PNC Bank Arts Center on August 15, getting to know their families – and puppies! – and sneaking into their dressing room.
While they've matured past fast food and pranks (though AJ McLean would say that Nick Carter still gets up to his old tricks!), they retained some of their boy band
mischievousness. "There are still a couple of bras and panties on stage," Carter told PEOPLE while giving a tour of his bus. "I say, keep throwing them! I think it's cool."
