Looks like Alec Baldwin
has yet another reason to stay up late at night.
Just weeks after Baldwin, 55, and wife, Hilaria, 29, welcomed new daughter Carmen Gabriela
in August, the 30 Rock
Emmy winner and frequent SNL
host is now about to welcome his own talk show in October.
Baldwin will dish up the hour-long Up Late w/ Alec Baldwin"
on MSNBC, discussing current events and culture every Friday at 10 p.m.
"After two seasons of my WNYC podcast, I've developed a fondness for hosting a show that involved talking with smart, talented, and engaging people in every imaginable field," says the actor, who's not known to be timid when it comes to expressing his opinions. "I'm grateful to MSNBC for helping me bring a similar show to television."
Baldwin has hosted the podcast Here's the Thing
since 2011, interviewing an array of politicians, policy-makers, and performers, from David Letterman and Dick Cavett to Republican campaign strategist Ed Rollins, according to MSNBC.
But are you ready to sit down with Alec?
