For Anna Faris, being named one of PEOPLE's Ones to Watch was doubly exciting – while she was "flattered" to get the honor, the mom of 14-month-old son Jack was just excited to be getting out of the house.

"I have a baby, I don't get to do this very often," the Mom star, 36, told PEOPLE at an event celebrating the honorees at Hinoki & The Bird restaurant in L.A. on Wednesday night.

Admitting she was excited to get inside and enjoy the "amazing food and amazing company" the 36-year-old said "it's surreal" to be named on this year's list alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Rebel Wilson and country music newcomer Kacey Musgraves.

Also excited to be on the list of rising stars is Saturday Night Live alum Andy Samberg. "It's fantastic," he told PEOPLE.

"All my relatives will see this … all the people that used to bully you when you are a kid now are reading PEOPLE and they can suck it," he joked. "Now I'm in it and they are just sitting there reading it."

The newlywed, who'd just come from the set of his new sitcom, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, was excited to join the celebration, where he was hoping to track down fellow honoree Michael B. Jordan. The 26-year-old, who stared in Friday Night Lights and The Wire is getting Oscar buzz for his role in the film Fruitvale Station.

"I'm a big Michael B. Jordan fan," Samberg, 35, admitted. "Where Wallace at?"
