Having filmed the latest, Hunger Games, Catching Fire
, opening Nov. 22, Hutcherson tells Seventeen
for its November issue (on sale Oct. 22) that in a test of wits as to who's funnier, he or Lawrence, "We have this debate all the time – I think it's me!"
Not that the Kentucky native, 20, is being ungentlemanly.
"This sounds mean, but its true, and Jennifer would agree. Her thing is being shocking, goofy, and silly – which is amazing, and it takes a talented person to do that. I like to be more clever and witty. But if you had to go on who gets more laughs, I'd say she'd be the winner."
Having caused headlines last week with his tantalizing interview with Out magazine
– in which he stated, "Maybe I could say right now I'm 100 percent straight. But who knows? In a f–––ing year, I could meet a guy and be like, 'Whoa, I'm attracted to this person' " – the actor is asked by Seventeen
if he's ever had his heart broken.
"I think getting broken up with is worse than breaking up with somebody," he replies. "For me it hurts more when you're ready for something to keep going and the other person isn't."
Also asked if he's dated girls with the wrong intentions, he responds: "Definitely. I was blind at first by looks, by love, whatever. I've been known to fall hard and quick for girls, which I think is better than not falling at all."
