Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have struck a deal to host the awards show in 2014 and 2015, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced Tuesday.
The Saturday Night Live alums earned rave reviews – and big ratings – when they hosted the show for the first time in January.
"It's wonderful news," HFPA president Theo Kingma said in a statement. "They have always been our first choice as hosts and we're delighted they are back for the next two years."
The longtime friends blended sharp-witted jabs and goofy humor – like donning costumes as fake nominees (watch the hilarious video below) – last year to make jokes that had both the celebrities in attendance and the audience at home giggling.
Another case in point: This zinger Poehler, 42, directed toward James Cameron, who was once married to nominated director Kathryn Bigelow.
"I haven't really been following the controversy over Zero Dark Thirty, but when it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron," she said.
Fey, 43, who displayed her razor-sharp comedy chops while hosting the SNL season opener last month, had plenty of great lines of her own.
"I have not seen someone so totally alone and abandoned like that since you were on stage with James Franco at the Oscars," Fey joked to Anne Hathaway about her performance in Les Misérables.
Can't wait until January to see this duo in action? The ladies also reportedly teamed up to film a cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, out in December.
The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, on NBC.
