Davion Only's prayers have been answered.
The 15-year-old orphan went to a Sunday church service in St. Petersburg, Fla., last month to request that a family adopt him
. Only's story has since gotten national attention – and he's received more than 10,0000 responses, so far.
"Some of them already have [the required] adoptive-home setting," Connie Going, his caseworker, said on Monday's The View
"I'll take anyone," Only has said. "Anyone who will love me," he reiterated on The View
But Only will have the opportunity to choose a family that is a good fit for him.
"Davion is going to be extremely involved. He's a teenager. He knows what he wants, who he can connect to," Going said when asked about the process of matching Only with a family.
"It would make me feel really good," Only said about the possibility of finding a home. "I think I would be more successful and have more opportunity if I had a family and I hope that I do have one."
Going said he will find an adoptive family "without a doubt."
"I'm going to try to go to college," adds Only. "The government says I'll be able to get a free college tuition and I'll use that to get a Bachelor[s]," he said.
Only has been shuffled around the foster system, but says he is grateful to those who have cared for him.
"I would like to thank all the group homes and foster homes that I had in the past that took good care of me."
