Pumpkin Carving is already a bit of a challenge with the stringy insides, the seeds everywhere, and the sometimes-difficult task of finding a perfect knife that's sharp and sturdy enough to cut through the pumpkin flesh, but small and nimble enough to carve your design.
Now try doing all of that underwater
A group of scuba divers did just that, carving their jack-o-lanterns 25 feet under the sea for their pumpkin carving contest in Key Largo, Fla.
"It was hard to get the knife in the right spot," Alia Jones told the Miami Herald
"And if you let the knife go, it would float away."
So, who won? We'd say the fish and other underwater creatures that got some unexpected pumpkin-flavored snacks.
