The party's not over just because you've put away your Halloween costume.
When you're done retiring your respective masks to the back of your closet, here's what you missed this weekend:
5. Somebody Paid a lot of Money for Oprah Winfrey's Old Teapot
If one man's trash is another man's treasure, then Oprah's
unwanted clutter is worth $600,000. That's how much the media mogul fetched at her Saturday yard sale, where prices on even the most mundane items skyrocketed. All of the money raised (including $1,000 for a teapot) benefited Winfrey's Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.
What else was up for grabs?
4. Kerry Washington Probably Doesn't Know What the Fox Says
However, the mom-to-be
knows what a jealous, scorned girlfriend would say. In a Saturday Night Live
parody of Ylvis's viral hit "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)," this week's host teamed up with Jay Pharoah to answer an equally pressing question: "What does my girl say?"
Watch the video to find out the answer.
3. Kate Hudson Turned Everyone's Heads – and We Mean Everyone
We need one minute to pick up our jaws from the floor. (Okay, thanks.) Hudson
gave back – literally – at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Art + Film Gala, where she stunned in a curve-hugging gown. Also at Saturday's bash: a laundry list of A-listers, including Fergie
and Josh Duhamel
, Jake Gyllenhaal
, Drew Barrymore
and Leonardo DiCaprio
Get ready to wow-out-loud.
2. Did Pamela Anderson Run the N.Y.C. Marathon in Her Baywatch Suit?
She didn't reprise her trademark red swimwear, but all those runs on the beach certainly paid off when Anderson
hit the ground running for Sunday's ING New York City Marathon
. According to her fundraising page, she raised nearly $76,000 for the J/P Haitian Relief Organization, which aims to save lives and bring sustainable programs to the impoverished Caribbean nation devastated by the 2010 earthquake.
See how she did.
1. Why 'NSYNC Reunited Again Over the Weekend
Months after they took the stage together
at the MTV Video Music Awards, the boy band came together Saturday in Orlando, Fla., as former 'NSYNC singer Chris Kirkpatrick waved "Bye, Bye, Bye" to his bachelor days. That's right – Kirkpatrick wed Karly Skladany as Justin Timberlake
, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass looked on.
Send your congrats!
