Cyrus, 20, debuted her new tattoo on Twitter Tuesday, a large portrait on the inside of her right arm of her maternal grandmother, Loretta Finley, affectionately known to the family as "Mammie."
The "Wrecking Ball" singer Tweeted of her ink: "Because I am her favorite & she is mine."
The body art was courtesy of none other than Kat Von D. Cyrus posted another photo on Twitter of Von D at work in her studio. Cyrus, dressed in black with her midriff exposed, is seen lying on a table as Von D, 31, inks her arm.
Von D shared her love for their session right back in an Instagram post. "Love, love loved tattooing you last night," she wrote, showing off a photo she used of Finley to do the portrait.
In September, Cyrus revealed that she'd tattooed the words "Rolling $tone" on the bottoms of her feet, honoring her first cover on the famed magazine with a post on Instagram.
