Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker
Thanksgiving might be a bit rocky for Kandi Burruss and her mother, Joyce, given their blow-up on Sunday's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta
"I'm still not sold on the groom yet," Mama Joyce told her daughter, bringing to a head the tension that has been building since Burruss's January engagement
to Todd Tucker. "How much do you know about him?"
"You are so mean and rude to him," said Burruss, 37, who ended up in tears after her mother dissed her engagement ring.
"He ain't givin' you a dime," her mother yelled. "He's sleepin, eatin' on you … I don't want you to be able to choke on a chicken bone, and he come over and tell me I got to get out."
"My mother doesn't like anybody I date," Burruss explained, but her mother warned, "You do not know the man … Don't think for one minute he's the person you are."
Meanwhile, NeNe Leakes
, 45, tried to play peacekeeper, bringing the housewives together for drinks in order to heal the rift between Kenya Moore
and Phaedra Parks that started during last season's reunion when Moore alleged that Parks' husband, Apollo Nida, texted her inappropriately.
"She wanna do a Monica Lewinsky with him," Parks, 40, said, before the group met.
"I feel like I'm about to walk into the lion's den," Moore said, before telling Parks, "There was never any inappropriate text messages."
"The rule is," Parks said, "you shouldn't be texting nobody's husband."
"I'm nobody's whore, and I'm nobody's fool," Moore, 42, said, before offering an apology – of sorts. "I didn't want to secretly sleep with your husband."
Porsha Stewart continued to struggle with her emotional divorce
from former NFL star Kordell Stewart, moving into her mother's home (and taking over her mom's master suite) before learning from her attorney that her ex wasn't allowing her to return to their former home to pack her belongings.
"How low can he go?" Stewart, 31, wondered. "For him to pack my stuff up like I’m some random? ... Karma's gonna bite him in that big ol' bubble butt."
Cynthia Bailey was troubled by media reports that she looked pregnant, but revealed that she had fibroids and has battled bloating, heavy bleeding and weight gain ever since the birth of her daughter, Noelle, 13.
"My world has turned into one big fibroid," said a teary-eyed Bailey, who also revealed her sex life with husband Peter Thomas, 53, had suffered as a result.
Bailey, 46, learned she was a candidate for uterine fibroid embolization, a minimally invasive procedure that her doctor believed would relieve her symptoms.
