Yes, Grant Hazell, a married father of two who hails from Suffolk and lives in Perth, Australia, has an unusual – and fortunate – dilemma: People constantly approach him on the street because they think he's Ryan Gosling.
Hazell was a police officer until May, when his wife, Caroline, decided to capitalize on his winning the genetic lottery, and sent his photo off to a talent agency. Now, the former cop torments hearts instead of criminals at his new gig: He's a professional Gosling look-alike, a gig that earns him around $320 per night.
For his part, Hazell's taking it all in stride: "He's a cool guy and a great actor," he said to The Sun about Gosling. "It's not a bad thing to look like one of Hollywood's most wanted men."
