Ah, Thanksgiving: our annual excuse to sit around a table with our closest friends and second cousins to talk about and/or eat our feelings.

Unfortunately, stuffing your mouth with mashed potatoes isn't the answer your Aunt Peggy is looking for when she asks you what you're thankful for this year. And if you can't think straight with all that Tryptophan, you can just steal our answers.

3. This dreaming puppy

4. Chef Tom Colicchio's gingerbread cookie sandwich

We didn't know it was possible to like (read: love) ice cream sandwiches anymore than we already do, and then the celebrity chef went ahead and stuffed his with rum ice cream and poached pears.

5. The brave, fearless Batkid

We weren't sure we believed in heroes before San Francisco became Gotham on Nov. 15 as the Make-A-Wish Foundation fulfilled the dreams of a 5-year-old boy named Miles, who has leukemia. Ben Affleck, this is going to be a tough – impossible, actually – act to follow.
