With the extreme cold temperatures that have descended over the U.S., it's easy to overlook that we don't have much on Canada when it comes to this sort of thing.

When temperatures in northern Ontario dropped to 41 below zero, South Porcupine (yes, that's really the name) resident Chris Gillett found an inventive way to have some fun in the frigid temperatures.

He filled a pressurized water gun (known as a "moose-soaker" in Canada ... not really) with boiling water and started firing it off his front porch.

The result is: a) really cool-looking, and b) something we never want to see the business end of, ever.
