Watch Robert Downey Jr. Sing a Flawless Police Cover for Sting's Birthday

It's not enough that Robert Downey Jr. is a talented actor with charisma for miles, but he's also got to have an astounding singing voice? Life isn't fair.

Sting celebrated his 60th birthday in 2011 with a performance at New York's Beacon Theater. Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock were all present, but the surprise of the evening was RDJ. Then promoting his second Sherlock Holmes film, A Game of Shadows, Downey took the stage with Sting to perform the Police's "Driven to Tears" (from Zenyatta Mondatta), and absolutely crushed it.

YouTuber Lester Kennedy helpfully notes that this isn't even the first time Sting and RDJ have crossed musical paths: Here the pair are, singing "Every Breath You Take" on Ally McBeal.
