The reality star admitted to having a vasectomy on The Wendy Williams Show Tuesday, clarifying that he and girlfriend Liz Jannetta won't be having any children together. With Gosselin's eight and Jannetta's three, the pair have a total of 11 kids between them.
"We can't have more kids," Gosselin, 36, said. "Yeah, I'm fixed and Liz is fixed."
The pair appear on the show Couple's Therapy together, but Gosselin stopped short of saying they have plans to wed.
"I like the thought of marriage," he said. "Being committed to each other and vowing to be together and when you see cute old couples walking through Central Park, it's like, 'I want that.' "
Gosselin's twins with ex-wife Kate, Mady and Cara, 13, recently spoke out about their family, including the effect of their parents' bitter divorce.
"People expect us to be damaged," Cara told PEOPLE, as Mady chimed in. "People think we're supposed to be messed up, like, 'Ooooh, the poor Gosselin kids, they're going to be scarred for life, waaaaaah.' Here's the big news: we're not messed up."
