According to a local NBC affiliate, the collapse happened at Ohio State University's Schottenstein Center shortly after midnight on Thursday, about an hour after Bryan's concert wrapped up and all concertgoers had filed out.
As the crew were dismantling equipment, a forklift reportedly hit the stage, causing two sections to buckle and crash down.
Four workers were hospitalized with minor injuries and released shortly afterward.
University officials said no audience members were in the stadium at the time of the incident. Kari Van Horn, a producer at Yahoo! Sports, later posted a photo of the damage on Twitter.
According to Rolling Stone, the accident forced Bryan, 37, to postpone a show scheduled for the following evening, in Lexington, Ky. That concert will now take place on Feb. 21.
