says she's not dating anyone in particular but she still likes the concept.
"Dating is fun. It's not really hard. I love dating, I just don't have very much time for it," the actress, 43, told PEOPLE at the NBC Television Critics Association event in Pasadena, Calif., this week.
And when she does have time, would a suitor get to meet her 5-year-old son
"No one meets Henry until very late in the game," she said. "I'm busy and I feel like that whole thing takes care of itself. I focus on Henry and work."
Driver said that reports of her dating Ryan Kavanaugh are false, although the pair were recently photographed
"He's the executive producer of a movie I have coming out. He's my friend. I don't know where this idea came from," she said. "I'm not dating Ryan."
"He was holding my hand," she explained. "There was a crush of people we were about to walk through as we were going down the stairs and he said, 'I'm going to get you through this,' like a friend. And he took my hand and that's how it was construed. He's my friend. I think people want me to be in love."
Driver's new show, About a Boy
, premieres Feb. 22 on NBC (11 p.m. ET).
