With Queen Latifah officiating, the diverse pairs – a mix of gay and straight, and a range of ages and races – wed Sunday night, serenaded by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, who sang their hit "Same Love" with help from Mary Lambert and Trombone Shorty.
Afterward, Madonna stepped through a neon altar while dressed in a white suit to serenade the newlyweds (and the world) with a heartfelt rendition of her 1986 hit "Open Your Heart."
Earlier Sunday, Lewis confirmed the weddings would take place at the awards show when he told the New York Times that the marriages "will be in our minds the ultimate statement of equality, that all the couples are entitled to the same exact thing."
In a fun twist, Katy Perry actually caught one of the bouquets, taking to Twitter to post a snapshot of her posing with the beautiful blooms.
John Mayer, you've been warned.
