Everyone knows Meryl Streep can act and sing – but could a rap career be this leading lady's latest venture?

The August: Osage County star was photographed buddying up to 50 Cent, and as the rapper wrote in his Instagram caption, "Things got a little gangsta."

Streep, 64, struck a pose with 50 Cent and NBA star Kobe Bryant while attending a Los Angeles Lakers game Sunday, and the result pretty much speaks for itself.

"Man I got a good life man lol," 50 Cent, 38, captioned another shot of him and Streep sitting court side.

The "In Da Club" rapper wore gold chains and repped the New York Jets from head to toe, as Streep kept things classy as usual in a white collared shirt, black sweater and glasses. Bryant, 35, was out with an injury and watched as the New York Knicks beat the Lakers 110-103.

After learning she was nominated for yet another Academy Award, Streep told Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres that she is "so old news" and "boring."

We think a G-Unit collaboration could be just what Hollywood's greatly admired actress needs to spice up her career. After all, Streep is set to showcase her pipes in a movie adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim-James Lapine musical Into the Woods.

Let us know in the comments below what you think of this unlikely yet amazing friendship.
