Two Boston Marathon bombing survivors will be joining First Lady Michelle Obama in her viewing box during the President's State of the Union Speech on Tuesday.

Carlos Arredondo and Jeff Bauman are among the guests invited by Obama. Arredondo became a national hero after he helped rescue Bauman from the scene. Bauman, who lost both of his legs in the blast, was one of the 264 people wounded. A photo of the post-blast rescue was published around the world making it one of the iconic images from the horrific tragedy.

"It's constantly in my head, seeing the people. I'm at the spot of the event, seeing the young man I helped, and the young lady who died... It's hard to sleep," Arredondo told the Wall Street Journal last year.

In addition to the bombing survivors, Obama will welcome former NBA center Jason Collins, Moore, Okla., fire chief Gary Bird, and Washington D.C.'s 2013 public school teacher of the year Kathy Hollowell-Mackie.

Collins made history when he became the first active male player on a major professional sports team to come out. Bird led the rescue efforts after a EF5 tornado leveled his town and killed two dozen people last May.

Other guests will be announced before the President's speech.
