Tom Hanks Joins Paul Rudd for Spot-on Bosom Buddies Parody

In the words of Jeff Probst, prepare yourself for The Greatest Event in Television History.

For the fourth time, Parks and Recreation star Adam Scott has attempted to recreate the epitome of "perfect TV" by reshooting a classic sitcom intro for his annual Adult Swim special. In the past, under-appreciated treasures such as Simon & Simon, Hart to Hart, and Too Close for Comfort have all received the shot-for-shot parody treatment.

In this installment, Bosom Buddies is given the honor of Scott's tongue-in-cheek "special touch" – with more than a little help from Paul Rudd. Camp and silly cameos abound, as both actors don the iconic dresses and wigs of Bosom Buddies's original actors, Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari (aka the guy who went on to play Hannah's dad in Girls).

Keep an eye (and ear) out for Billy Joel above – then jam out to "My Life" one more time while watching the original Bosom Buddies opening below.
