Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Katie Couric
The veteran journalist and talk-show host has revealed when she will tie the knot with her fiancé, John Molner.
"Summer!" Couric, 57, told Howard Stern at his 60th birthday bash on Friday in New York City when the shock jock asked about her wedding plans.
Stern then asked if he would be invited to the nuptials. "No, but to the party," she replied. "[The wedding is] going to be family only."
Couric cuddled with Molner, 50, a banker, all throughout the night, where Adam Levine
, John Mayer
and Jon Bon Jovi all performed to honor Stern's milestone.
Later, when Couric took the stage to introduce singer Jewel, Stern joked with her by asking, "Do you want me to marry you right now?"
Molner, sitting in the crowd of the Hammerstein Ballroom, said, "Yes!" Stern then heckled him by asking, "What's it like to make love to America's sweetheart?"
He tried to deflect the personal question with a zinger of his own: "We're going to do that on our wedding night."
When Stern pressed Molner one more time, he finally relented. "Making love to America's sweetheart is amazing!" he answered.
Couric and Molner got engaged
over Labor Day weekend after nearly two years of dating.
