It was a casual affair on Friday night for Lauren Conrad and her fiancé William Tell, who celebrated their birthdays with friends and family.

Conrad and her guests – who included fellow former Hills costar Stephanie Pratt, and Lexie Contursi, who was on Conrad's sister's season of Laguna Beach – were mostly dressed in flannels and denim to go along with the hoedown theme of the bash, which was held at Riviera 31 at the Sofitel hotel in Los Angeles.

The outdoor patio, which was privately reserved for Conrad and her man's crew, was fully decorated with haystacks, blow-up ponies and wagon wheels.

Conrad, who looked adorable in braided pigtails, could not have seemed in a better mood. She was super smiley the whole night and especially gracious to the venue's staff, who ensured her night went off without a hitch. She started off the night drinking what appeared to be water.

A highlight for the clothing designer, who just turned 28, was when her sister Breanna walked in. The two ladies shared an excited hug and took a photo.

While everyone seemed to enjoy dancing to the live band and munching on food and cupcakes, it was overall a pretty tame affair that the blonde beauty Instagrammed about before the night really kicked off.
