President Barack Obama logged on to Twitter to start a new campaign: the fight against TV spoilers.

Thursday night, the President Tweeted from his official account:

Obama is clearly worried about binge watchers spilling House of Cards secrets, as he should be. Netflix released the entire second season of the show at 3:00 a.m. Friday morning, and fans of the political thriller are already tweeting about choosing HOC over sleep.

The House of Cards account promptly retweeted Obama's call for internet silence and advised those fretting about missing the show to try SpoilerFoiler.com, a site that removes revealing tweets from a user's feed.

The President's tweet also posted just in time for the show's premiere party in Los Angeles on Thursday, and it was projected at the event. When asked about Obama's endorsement, the show's scheming journalist Kate Mara told the Associated Press that it's "one of the coolest things that's happened to me."

Hopefully, Michelle and Barack can fit a mini-marathon into those Valentine's Day plans.
