Harry Potter is under there somewhere.

Daniel Radcliffe showed off his longer locks at Sunday's WhatsOnStage Awards, where he won best actor in a play for The Cripple of Inishmaan.

Radcliffe is letting his hair go wild for his upcoming role as Igor in a new film version of Frankenstein. Everyone's favorite wizard kickstarted the process with a set of extensions in December, but now he is growing it alone ... a feat the 24-year-old is finding harder than expected.

"I don't mind how it looks, but I mind dealing with it. I don't know why any man would have it voluntarily," Radcliffe confessed to the Telegraph. "The amount of work it takes, having to dry it - doing anything to it is a f–––––– nightmare."

He added: "I do have a whole new sympathy for women. I wouldn't be growing my hair this long in my own time."

When Radcliffe isn't managing his mane, he is using the scruffy look to his advantage. The actor admitted the new hair makes it easier for him to walk the streets unrecognized.

Radcliffe is sticking with the style until filming on the Frankenstein project is complete. Hopefully, Jared Leto will divulge his man-bun secrets before then.
