It must be a relief for Justin Bieber to be appearing somewhere that isn't a courtroom.

The embattled pop star surprised fans when he showed up at Austin's South By Southwest festival Sunday and dedicated his set – which consisted of "Boyfriend" and "As Long As You Love Me" – to Selena Gomez.

Despite his various legal woes, Bieber found time for a late-night performance at Banger's Sausage House & Garden while in Austin. The 20-year-old had been seen gadding about town with Gomez during SXSW, and seemingly confirmed rumors of the pair's rekindled affections with his performance.

On Monday, Bieber posted an Instagram video of him and Gomez intimately dancing to a John Legend song. Though he swiftly yanked the video, MTV picked up the story before the clip was removed – so don't expect those reconciliation rumors to die down anytime soon.
