Bentley Toone loves making prank FaceTime calls using his mom's iPhone. Turns out, they were good practice for when the 2-year-old really needed to help.
Toone's mother, Laura, tried to break up a fight between the family dog and another dog she was fostering in her Tucson, Ariz., home, and was severely injured as a result.
"I begged my daughters to call 911, and they're 4 and they were quite afraid to even touch the phone because it was covered in my own blood," she told ABC News Friday.
Toone was worried she was going to pass out from blood loss, before Bentley intervened.
"Here comes my son from the kitchen bringing me our dish towel," she said. "He wiped off the blood himself and proceeded to call my friend on FaceTime."
Bentley's pranking habit almost derailed the rescue: Toone's friend Connie Guerrero would have typically ignored the call, but "something inside of me just told me that I need to answer this FaceTime," she said. Guerrero was able to call 911 and send help to Toone's house, where Bentley's heroism wasn't finished: He unlocked the door for firefighters when they arrived.
