The former reality starlet was considerably more restrained than Jenny McCarthy while defending her own anti-vaccination stance to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live Tuesday.
"I'm just a mom. I'm trying to make the best decision for my kid," she said. "There are very scary statistics out there regarding what is in vaccines … We feel like we're making the best decision for our kids."
Cohen's question was spurred by a Fox interview Thursday in which Cavallari admitted to not vaccinating her kids to a disbelieving Lisa Kennedy, who had jokingly mentioned Jenny McCarthy's decision not to vaccinate her children.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, no scientific study has found a link between vaccines and autism.
Cavallari is expecting her second son with husband Jay Cutler in May.
