Anne Hathaway Disputes 'Drowning' Rumors, Sings Snoop Dogg With Jimmy Fallon

Rumors of Anne Hathaway's near-demise have been greatly exaggerated.

The star appeared on Tuesday's Tonight Show to talk with Jimmy Fallon about photos from January that seemed to show the actress in some nautical trouble.

Hathaway explained that the photos – described as a drowning scare by some outlets – were the result of her being caught in a riptide in Hawaii.

She continued, saying that the gasping face she appears to be making in one of the photos was actually her shouting "No" to her husband, Adam Shulman, as in, "No, don't run out, there's photographers, you just made this so much more dramatic!"

Hathaway, on a break since her Oscar win for Les Misérables, is returning to the screen, albeit in animated form, with Rio 2.

Hathaway also performed "Gin and Juice," "In Da Club" and "B–––– Don't Kill My Vibe" in old-timey Broadway style, which ... well, it's probably easier if we don't over-explain things. The video is below.
