Joffrey Baratheon is dead, and all of Westeros is mourning.

The beloved ruler, who had brought peace and stability to the Seven Kingdoms after a violent civil war, was poisoned while eating a piece of pigeon pie and washing it down with red wine at his own wedding reception.

Joffrey is survived by his wife, Margaery, his mother, Cersei, his brother, Tommen, his sister, Myrcella and his uncles, Jaime and Tyrion, who failed to prevent and are accused of his murder, respectively. While they mourn his death, let us remember the bright, shining youth that Joffrey was in life.
