Showing their concern for the nation's veterans, country stars Brett Eldredge and Jana Kramer will appear in a series of Macy's I.N.C. brand ad spots launching in May.

The singers will appear in the "American Icons" campaign, a partnership with the retail giant and the veteran's support initiative Got Your 6 – a military euphemism for "got your back." It will debut May 6 and will also feature model Ireland Baldwin and Olympic swimming gold medalist Ryan Lochte along with apparel from the recent fashion collection created by actress Zooey Deschanel for designer Tommy Hilfiger.

The Got Your 6 program, in its second year, helps veterans with re-entry after their service, celebrating the leadership skills honed in the military and the assets they bring to the nation.

Eldredge, 28, and Kramer, 30, model the new fashions from the I.N.C. International Concept's line with Nashville as a backdrop in the ads.

"An American Icon to me is people, someone who speaks true to what the country is, somebody who is the heart and soul of this country," Eldredge says in promo spots for "Icons." Among his favorites: Willie Nelson, Frank Sinatra and Clint Eastwood.

Kramer singles out as her personal icons, Patsy Cline, Garth Brooks and figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi. "To me, an American icon is someone who follows their dreams, is a role model and never gives up and is someone you look up to."

Shoppers can donate to the Got Your 6 effort at Macy's starting May 17 and receive a special savings pass. All of the money donated to the campaign will go to help military families and returning veterans.
