With the news that both High School Musical and A Cinderella Story are getting the modern-day treatment, the question has to be asked: What other movies should follow suit?

Well conveniently enough, we have a few suggestions …

1. 13 Going on 30
Watching a '90s kid try to tackle the world of smartphones, Snapchat and Instagram is bound for lots of laughs. As for the work party scene, we recommend swapping out "Thriller" for the "Cha Cha Slide."

2. She's the Man
With social media, pulling off a sibling swap like this would be a lot harder. (Sebastian would definitely be tweeting from his European tour.) But that means it would require a little more creativity on Viola's part – which would make for an even funnier movie.

3. Bring It On
With an iPhone camera in hand, stealing cheers would be much easier for Big Red. But the Clovers could also become YouTube sensations, stealing the Toros' spotlight. Bring It On in 2016 – there are just so many possibilities!

4. Freaky Friday
Just think about how much more Tess would have freaked (pun intended) if she would've seen what was on Anna's camera roll.

5. Mean Girls
Yes, there's the argument that you shouldn't mess with perfection. But there's also so. much. potential. "Regina George? I heard she gets paid $10,000 per Instagram post. One time, John Stamos tweeted at her and he told her she was pretty." One requirement? Tina Fey returns to write the screenplay and reprises her role as Ms. Norbury.
