Chris Evans ramped up the excitement for the latest film in the Marvel franchise, debuting a brand-new clip from Captain America: Civil War at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards on Saturday night.
The high-energy clip was quintessential Captain, featuring a slew of intense fight moments and explosions. The clip saw more superheroes than the Captain, though, with Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr., the Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and villain-turned-hero Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
In the new movie, Captain America (Evans) spars with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), while members of the Avengers super hero squad – like Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow – get caught in the middle.

Of her role in the film, Johansson said earlier this week that "Natasha [aka Black Widow] is a bit torn between either side. With Cap they really have a relationship where she wants to reason with him. But she sees Tony as a path of least resistance.'
Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6. The MTV Movie Awards aired on Sunday (at 8 p.m. ET) on MTV.
