JAMIE LEE PAYS COURT
Jamie Lee Curtis -- also known as Baroness Haden-Guest -- attended Tuesday's opening of Britain's Parliament, where her husband has inherited a seat in the House of Lords. It might be her last chance. Prime Minister Tony Blair's government plans to strip the hereditary peers of their right to vote in the upper chamber of Parliament. The actress, formally dressed in cream satin and a tiara of gold leaves, sat among other spouses in the elaborate chamber of the House of Lords to hear Queen Elizabeth II read out the government's legislative plan for the coming year. Jamie Lee, 40, is married to the 5th Baron Haden-Guest -- better known in the film industry as actor and screenwriter Christopher Guest ("Waiting for Guffman"). He inherited the title in 1996 when his father died.
