Buddy Clinton Book a Dog

"Dear Socks, Dear Buddy," Hillary Rodham Clinton's book about letters to the White House pets, is going to the dogs, reports The Washington Post. It just isn't selling. The book's publisher, Simon & Schuster, had hoped to got half a million copies into stores for Christmas, says The Post, but the sales order was cut back to 300,000. Even with that impressive number of copies out there, the title is not showing up on best-seller lists. Even so, Simon & Schuster remains confident in the book, a spokesman tells the paper, especially with Hillary appearing on Rosie O'Donnell's show this week.
