QUEEN MUM FELLED -- BY A NOSE
Britain's 98-year-old queen mother was treated at a hospital Sunday for a serious nose bleed, Buckingham Palace said. The Queen Mother Elizabeth had blood vessels in her nose cauterized to stem the bleeding during a procedure at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn, a palace spokesman said. A spokesman, speaking with customary anonymity, said the mother of Queen Elizabeth II was "fine" after the hour-long procedure and in good health. "It was nothing serious -- she was treated as an outpatient," the spokesman said.
