The Hollywood power couple took time to defend themselves Tuesday after Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker reported on Monday the year-old rumor that the "Ally McBeal" producer was about to leave Michelle for the show's star, Calista Flockhart. The story was then picked up by Los Angeles TV station KTLA. "David is absolutely livid, and Michelle is deeply hurt and angry," their publicist Lois Smith told the New York Post. She went on to say, "Those reports are unconscionable. Of all the marriages to try and break up!"
