The Scottish National Party proudly welcomed reports this weekend that former James Bond star Sean Connery is considering a return to his native Scotland. The 68-year-old actor (and renowned supporter of the SNP, which favors Scotland's break from England) said that he and his wife Micheline were looking for a house in the Edinburgh area, where they plan to spend up to three months a year. A spokesman for the SNP said: "I think we would broadly welcome it. It is obviously an interesting announcement that Sean Connery has made, and I think folk will regard it as a welcome announcement."
