British songbird Dusty Springfield ("Son of a Preacher Man"), who died at the age of 59 last month, has provided handsomely for her 13-year-old, California ragdoll-breed cat Nicholas, reports London's Sunday Mirror. Dusty's will calls for Nicholas to be fed American baby food and to live in a 7-foot-high indoor tree house (complete with scratch pads and catnip). Springfield, who was an animal-rights activist, bought Nicholas in Hollywood when he was just a kitten. She also arranged for him to be "married." His bride will be the 5-year-old English blue breed who belongs to Dusty's friend Lee Everett-Alkin, who was named Nicholas's guardian.
