Kevin Costner realized one of his biggest dreams on Sunday: playing in a big league baseball game. He also realized one of his biggest fears: making an error to lose the game. The "Field of Dreams" star, 44, dropped a ball in the sixth inning, allowing the scoring run as the Anaheim Angels defeated his alma mater, Cal State Fullerton, 2-1 in the Angels' exhibition finale. Costner was hitless his three times at bat. But he made two tough plays at shortstop and even pitched two-thirds of an inning, striking out rookie Jeb Daugherty and retiring Angels manager Terry Collins on a ground ball in the eighth. "I felt really bad about making us lose the game," said Costner. "I just missed it in front of everybody. I really wanted to win."
