Cher back in Vegas? "Believe" it. Variety reports that the pop diva is in talks to be the first entertainer to play at the Venetian, the new $1.5-billion resort casino located on the Las Vegas Strip. According to an informed source, the concert is scheduled to occur during the grand-opening festivities planned for June 10-12. The Venetian, which replicates St. Mark's Square and other Venice landmarks, held a "soft" opening for the press in early May -- with Sophia Loren taking the first gondola ride -- though the luxury resort was not completely finished then.
