A woman who worked as a nanny and housekeeper for Kiss band-member Gene Simmons and his actress wife Shannon Tweed, sued the couple for wrongful termination due to racial discrimination. The woman, Paula Valladares, is from El Salvador. The suit filed in Los Angeles this week said she had worked for the couple from April 1996 until February 1999. Valladares claims Tweed repeatedly made offensive remarks about her race and the way she spoke English. She seeks unspecified damages.
