Jerry Lee Lewis Out of Doghouse

Nesbit, Miss., officials have decided to drop a charge that rocker Jerry Lee Lewis violated the county's dog leash law, reports the Associated Press. Mildred Yancey, one of the Lewises's neighbors, filed two complaints in November against Lewis and his wife Kerrie. Yancey complained that the couple's dogs were running loose in the neighborhood and causing damage to her shrubbery. DeSoto County prosecutor David Adams said the complaint against Lewis will be dropped because there was no proof the dogs belonged to him.
