Mary Bono, Sonny's widow and the current occupant of his House of Representatives seat, is a favorite subject in The Washington Post's Reliable Source column. "Last week," the column reports Friday, "we caught . . . Sonny's merry widow wearing a significant rock on her ring finger. Could she be engaged to boyfriend Brian Prout, the drummer for the country band Diamond Rio?" Through a spokesman Bono told the paper "it's none of our beeswax."
