Fred Durst, lead singer for the rap-metal band Limp Bizkit, was arrested for allegedly kicking a security guard in the head on stage during a concert in St. Paul, Minn., Monday night. Durst, 28, was taken into custody but not charged after Limp Bizkit finished its performance. He was released on $50,000 bail. The case was referred to the city attorney's office for possible misdemeanor charges. The security guard was treated for minor injuries.
- "Durst was somewhat apologetic," police spokesman Michael Jordan told the Associated Press. "It seems to be a case of mistaken identity. Durst thought his guy was getting beat up by two fans, and that's when he kicked the guy."
