Linda Tripp, whose decision to tape (covertly) Monica Lewinsky's most intimate revelations nearly brought down a President and made Tripp one of the most vilified figures in America, expects to be indicted Friday for violating Maryland's wiretap laws. If Tripp is indicted, she will be the first to be criminally charged in the so-called Monicagate scandal. Tripp's lawyer Joseph Murtha told The Washington Post: "In light of the length of the investigation and the effort put forth by the state prosecutor, we anticipate that they will seek an indictment."
