California's governor must decide whether Ronald Reagan fans can display the likeness of the former Republican governor on their cars. The license plates, which would be designed by the Reagan Presidential Library and the Department of Motor Vehicles, were approved Tuesday in a 30-4 state Senate vote. Gov. Gray Davis, a Democrat, has not said whether or not he would sign the measure into law. Davis is aware of Reagan's position in history as the first California governor to be elected president, spokeswoman Hilary McLean said.
