Taking a cue from "The Blair Witch Project" (which built up an audience on a website), Adam Sandler will bypass the conventional movie marketing process and take his newest creation directly to his fans on the Net. Sandler's new short film, "The Peeper," will be available Labor Day weekend at www.adamsandler.com. The six-minute animated comedy can be viewed on most computer screens and will be accessible to anyone with a machine having at least a 28.8 modem.
