The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y., has installed a tote board to keep track of the next home run milestone. At bat: those ol' sluggers, Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals and Sammy Sosa of the Chicago Cubs. But unlike last season, when McGwire hit an all-time record 70 homers, this year Sosa's in the lead, with 58 homers (to McGwire's 54). Last year at this juncture they were 53 (Sosa) to 54 (McGwire). All of this goes to say that baseball fans will probably be looking at a new record by the end of this season. Stand by.
