Legendary Swedish film director Ingmar Bergman ("Fanny and Alexander") concedes that as a young man he admired Adolf Hitler. Bergman long ago acknowledged that he was a Nazi sympathizer in his youth, but this is the first time he has talked about his admiration for Hitler. Bergman says learning what Hitler and the Nazis had done during World War II "was a hideous shock."
